Welcome to East Kilbride Colts.

We am proud to reflect on a truly exceptional year in 2024. Our club has experienced extraordinary growth, both on and off the field, and this success is a result of the dedication and passion of everyone involved.

Growth and Expansion

In 2024, we began the year with 90 young players and have now more than doubled our membership to over 200 players. This growth speaks to the hard work and commitment of our coaches, volunteers, and players. Our coaching team, now 33 strong, ensures that every child, regardless of ability, receives the guidance and support needed to succeed.

Behind the scenes, a dedicated group of volunteers—from parents to local supporters—has been integral to our operations. Their tireless efforts in event organisation, logistics, and fundraising have been crucial to the club’s continued success. Moving forward there will be more coming out from them as the clubs growth doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

A Successful Amateur Team

This year also saw our successful amateur team achieve a major milestone by winning their league title. Their dedication and teamwork have not only earned them this well-deserved victory but have also strengthened the overall spirit of the Colts, highlighting that EK Colts is a community for all ages.

Building a Stronger Community

EK Colts is about more than just football—it’s about fostering a community. The club continues to champion inclusivity, teamwork, and respect, providing opportunities for all children to play, learn, and grow. The growth in membership reflects our welcoming environment and commitment to creating a positive space for families.

Looking to the Future

The successes of 2024 have laid a strong foundation for the future. We are expanding our offerings, developing new skill programmes, and strengthening our partnerships with local groups and businesses.

Looking ahead, we are forming new squads for the 2019 and 2020 birth years, ensuring that even our youngest players have a place to start their football journey. Additionally, we have exciting plans to form Under-18 and Under-19 teams. Our pursuit of the Scottish FA Silver Quality Mark highlights our commitment to excellence and development at all levels.

A significant development is our efforts to secure the community asset transfer of the Murray Recreation Area, ensuring long-term growth and integration into the East Kilbride community. We are also in the process of achieving charity status, which will further strengthen our position as a community-focused organisation.
